Good to see that you're still here :) The past few days have been somewhat quiet, yet very enjoyable. On sunday, I tagged along with the family to Scienceworld! An interactive museum - much like Nemo in Amsterdam - primarily designed for children but also very amusing for adults (and me). Here are some pictures:
This was a piece on flexibility of the muscles, double jointed-ness, etc. To test whether or not you are double-jointed (or extremely supple) they installed this box. The sign above the box actually says: Don't try squeezing into the box if you have any doubts (it may be a while before we can extract you) Obviously.. well.. I'm just tall :p
They hooked up a thermal vision camera to a giant screen to show which parts of the body were hottest, white being the hottest and blue coldest. Of course my entire body turned out white on the screen, so this isn't me on the picture. Just someone else with the same fabulous hair-do.

On monday I visisted Stanley Park (for those of you who are really interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Park). It's the largest city-owned park in Canada and special because it borders down-town Vancouver. A few pictures and clips:
According to Leon, these rocks are actually piled up by people without being glued/nailed together. I thought they looked funny but did not test their stability! :)
Some nice pictures which nicely show how a giant rainforest (no kidding) can actually fit in an urban area.
This large tree did not turn out to be the 'hollow tree' as mentioned in the clip, but it was still mentionable.
Beaverlake, in the centre of Stanley park. After a walk of at least seven miles without drinking, even this water started to look delicious. Fortunately for me, I only drink my water with ice.Although I really actually filmed these little fellas because I thought Alex and Irene would like them, my giggling during the clips kind of gives me away.

Wow! Die brug ziet er erg gaaf uit,daar ga ik zeker-te-weten nog heen. Wil trouwens ook nog een dagje naar Stanley Park met de fiets, ik heb genoeg paden en weggetjes gezien die met de fiets supergaaf te bestijgen zijn.
Ik mis doezel ooook! Maar de schattige eekhoorns zijn gelukkig een aardige vervanger, :)

Dat Science World ziet er echt cool uit! Dat soort interactieve musea zijn altijd gaaf :D En wow, de natuur daar is echt bijzonder :)
Hier in Nederland is het inmiddels weer zeikweer, het regent en het is 15 graden :| Het ziet er uit alsof het daar beter weer is, dus je boft volgens mij!
Blijf posten, dan blijf ik lezen ;)
